Wise Words - Free

Therefore, if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" John 8:36

This verse is commonly used to encourage those who struggle with implementing change within their live. There was a time when i spent countless hours, days, weeks praying that God free me from a multitude of strongholds. The one thing i failed to realize is that everyday God was trying to allow me to free myself. Then once i was able and truly willing, my strongholds became weak-holds. Things that used to bind me didn't effect me. Don't get me wrong i still have vises, but i'm different. Not because i'm strong, but because i stop allowing life's circumstance to dictate my joy. I stopped focusing on my flaws and weakness and decided to allow God to work on my downfalls. i chose...i chose to be free, and because of God's Grace the battles i used to fight alone are no longer mine, but the Lords. So friends, if God has set you free, be free. No matter what you are going through, your battle has already been won, we just have to pick up our swords and shield and begin to fight.

"In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans." Romans 8:26
