An Encouraging Word

Wise Words are a daily messages, used to encourage and start individals days off with God's words. Starting in 2008, as a way to encourage a co-workers, i started writing emails of God's Love, Grace and Mercy. Now just two years later, i have a emailing list that is reaching hundreds of people. i hope these words serve as a means to encourage and profess God's Work in your life. Wise Words - A Sound Mind

A perverse mind gives way to the slander of the day, and becomes vulnerable to harm from the arrows that fly at night. But a sound mind is able to discern between peace and turbulence, while providing a shield from daggers intended to pierce your soul.


Remember the slogan from the late 80's and early 90's,"Your mind is a terrible thing to waist". As uncool as it sounds, it is 100% true. Your mind is where your thoughts, your value system, your ideas and concepts of what you hold to be true rest. Without the ablity to understand what is happening around you, you may think that the evils of the world is caused by the lack of goodness that your allowed to see. In other words a perverse mind is limited to true enlightenment, and knowledge, but sees only what it wants to see. But a sound mind will always see that all things work for the glory of God.

Pray that God to takes the scales from your eyes, and transform your mind.
