“Everyone talks about how loyal and faithful they are, but just try to find someone who really is.” (Proverbs 20:6)
My cousin was ministering to a group of young athletes and he said something that has now become one of my mantras. He said, "Your character will take you a lot further then your talents!" Referring to athletes and the pressures of success, his words still remain true for everyone.
People of high character are a rare breed, but these people will be the ones who inherit the world. As the word speaks upon the meek and the humble, people who's character supersedes there talents, are reliable. They can be counted on to do what they say they’ll do. They are exalted because their faithfulness and integrity speaks louder then any word. Originally I was going to say seek these people out, but i think this message should be for you to become the meek and the humble. It is time for you to become the person of high character, that can be counted on in times of tribulations. It is time for you to become the faithful.
Allow our character to become greater then are talents, and become the inheritor of the world.
"Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, fort they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children of God..." Matthew 5:5-9
