“Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up” (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).
I love the word synergy. Too me it seems like the word just brings so much power with it. But to acquire true synergy one has to be in harmony with another to work as one. It reminds me oxen. An ox can pull a plow weighing 500-600 lbs. and sometimes more depending on the size of the ox, when placing a yoke on the neck of the ox and adding another ox, one would think that they would be only able to pull 1,000 - 1,200 lbs. But with the yoke place around them, they would be able to pull 1,500 -1,800 lbs. This is three times as much as one ox by it self can pull.
Christ states, "Take my yoke upon and learn of me, for my yoke is easy and my burdens are light". In other words Christ is asking for you to join with Him, as He assist us in our burdens we will take upon us His burdens. But His burdens isn't that of typical nature, but serves as a learning tool. Obtaining synergy will harmonize an organization, allowing it to reach levels thought unobtainable.
None of us have to walk alone, but when we decide to allow others to join with us, we become stronger, wiser, and able to endure the tests of times.
