Wise Words - The Night is Nearly Over

"The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light." Romans 13:12


As the nights become shorter, and the days become longer, a new season is upon us. The cold and gloomy days of winter will soon be behind us, and Spring time, the fertility season, the season of rejuvenation the season for growth is almost here. But there is a transition period. As bitter cold days of snow transforms to dreary rainy days, we have to weather the storm and wait for our sunny spring. Trading in shovels for lawnmowers, and pants for shorts, it is time to prepare for days of light.

As we reset our clocks and prepare for our nights to become days and winter to turn into spring, we have to prepare ourselves for our resurrection season. We have to prepare for our breakthroughs, but there is a transition period. There is a period when growth takes place and your promise takes root, and much like a flower, there is a breakthrough period before pedals sprout. But your joy will come in the morning. Find joy in your early sunrise and rejoice in the light that is shining on you, for your new season is hear and the night is over.
