Wise Words - Treadmills

i started running about two years ago, because of the cold weather, i chose to run on a treadmill instead of going outside with the snow. The treadmill is a great machine, you can adjust speeds, even imitate cross country terrain. It's a great way to train your body, as it gets your heart pumping, generating stamina, conditioning your muscles, and give a sense of accomplishment, all to serve one purpose, that is to get into shape. But there is one problem with the treadmill...You're staying in one place. Running and working to gain distance, but going no where. Restricted and limited to running, jogging and walking in one spot. We have to get off our treadmills...

We have a lot of treadmill worshipers. A lot of Believers that stay on the couch watching the Gospel Channels, reading their Bibles at home . Which is good and encouraging, it gets your heart pumping, your spirit moving, it ignites a relationship with God, but Heaven doesn't need couch worshipers. Heaven needs worshipers that are willing to get of the treadmill and go out side.

People need to see you running. People need to hear you praising. People need to see you acknowledging, worshiping, and giving God the glory. One of the most common statements i hear, "I can have Church at home." Their is some truth to that for you are the church, but if you limit His Sanctuary, how does that edify the Kingdom? Get up and Get out. What's does the kingdom gain if you obtain all the wisdom of God, and keep it to yourself?

Running on the treadmill will get you fit, but what is the point of running if you are going to stand still? Get off the treadmill!!!

God is Love and He Love you and so do i
