Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me. Growing up my grade school used to pump that line into our heads, like it was a shield from venomous slander, but contrary to belief, sometimes being struck by a stick or hit by a stone would have felt better, then being called ugly, fat, stupid or just "un-liked".
Built to look at the negative characteristics of people, we have become hypocritical in our judgments on moral living and ethical values. Learn to look at the positive attributes of people. Learn to love through spoken words that encourages everyone, especially the ones you want to see exalted. Speak words of Love, and encourage life over death.
