i was a daring, fearless, adventurous and stupid child. i had a passion for jumping off of things. Trees, couches, fireplaces, houses, if i could climb up it, i would jump off it. The problem was that i believed i could fly. But why couldn't i? i dreamed about flying all the time Superman could fly, Batman used to swore through Gotham City. Almost all the X-Men could fly. i was special just like them, so why couldn't i fly?
One day driving to work, i saw a bird fly and land in the middle of the street, then proceed to walk across. i was on my way to work so i wasn't going the speed limit, but i saw this bird confidently and steadily walking, as if it couldn't tell or cared that i was coming. Waiting for the bird to panic and start flapping its wings, it just continued to walk. Praying it flies away, so i wouldn't hit it, the bird just misses the tire as i panicked and swerved around the confident bird. Thankful but dismayed, i couldn't understand why the bird that is meant to fly decided to walk in a hostile and dangerous situation. Even after just missing the bird i looked in my review mirror and saw the courageous bird still steadily walking.
God made birds to fly, but God didn't limit birds to just fly. We humans are made to walk but God has not limited us to just walk, but fly. Of course i don't mean fly literally, but we have to strip ourselves of the fears and take a leap of faith so our wings will spread. As a child i had the same confidence as that fearless bird. I just believed and God gave me wings to sore. Do not limit yourself because of what you think you can't do. Better yet have confidence that God will provide you with an unlimited ability to walk, run and fly through any situation. We man not have a large "S" printed on our undershirts, but we do have God's Spirit in us that will give us the ability to become Super and Supernatural.
Believe... sprout your wings, and Fly...
God is Love and He Loves you and so do i
