Salt is good, but if salt looses its saltiness what then is the purpose of the salt, would it just then become a rock? Have salt within yourself...Have integrity within yourself, have honesty within yourself, have substance within yourself. What are you based on?
Of all the things i am, and all the things i long and hope to be, if someone is to look into my eyes or look upon my heart, what will you see? We get wrapped up into the outward appearance of people, instead of what God looks at. Your heart, your spirit, your worship and praises which all comes from your inner being. There is were you will find substance...your heart is were your salt dwells. Maintain your saltiness. Fill your heart with praises so God can see your true beauty, instead of allowing your heart to become as stale as a rock.
Having a heart is good, but if your heart looses its substances, then it becomes like a rock. Are the substances that you are made of sustaining you, or have you become stale?
"But the Lord said to Samuel, 'Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.' " 1 Samuel 16:7
