"God heard the boy crying, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her, 'What is the matter, Hagar? Do not be afraid; God has heard the boy crying as he lies there. Lift the boy up and take him by the hand, for I will make him into a great nation.' " Genesis 21:17 &19
There is no more of a torturous sound, then the cries of a child. Especially, the cries of your own. It seems as the world stops, as the investigation begins to eagerly find the purpose of the pain. Is it food? A bad dream, lack of sleep, or pain? What can i do to assist my child in comforting him from this moment of agony? How can i help my child?
These are the same questions our Heavenly Father, asks as He sees the weeping and agony of His Children. Unlike our own children, we sometimes forget the security of motherly and fatherly arms, that seem to instantly relieve momentary pain. Or the gentle kiss placed on a scared knee, that serves as a band-aid. We sometimes forget that in our weeping, all we need to do is run to our Father, and seek His gentle kiss. For He hears our cries, and He is faithful and just, despite disbelief of insurmountable circumstances. What parent will want there child to cry in there arms?
God hears our cries and is more then able to wipe our tears. Run to Him, Trust in Him and He will lift you up, and take you by your hand.
God is Love and He Loves you and so do i
